Happy Birthday Calvin

Happy "almost" Birthday to our little man!!

Calvin turns 3 next week, and due to vacation plans, we celebrated early. Funny thing is that he truly thinks last Saturday was his Birthday! He keeps telling every one his is 3 now.


3 looks good on you Bubby! He was SO excited that he wouldn't take his nap that day. Here he is helping me set up. The weather was awesome, and all his friends came.


They played several games. Pin the Spider on the web, bean bag toss, and a Cake walk.

ALL kids and a few adults got tatoo'd. It was really funny the next day at church. We received several comments on them!

the Zoo again...!!!

remember last year when Calvin got attacked by one of these? This literally happened seconds after I told "the" story!!! These peacocks are CRAZY!!

the ZOO! (again)...

We have a BIG day planned with about 12-15 of headed there. School is out due to the elections and what better to do with our time (well...actually I need to be pricing for our massive yard sale Saturday...) than to spend it with good friends. Hannah hasn't seen the new polar bear exhibit yet, so I am excited for her to see it.

Rain, Rain, rain...

With the exception of the past 2 days, it has been RAINING for the past 4 weeks!!! I kid you not. Hardly any sun, and NO playing outside...well, actually we did find a way for them to play outside:) Hannah is used to puddle jumping, but this is Calvin's first experience. He had a blast!





I am thinking that the flooding downtown is subsiding. I haven't heard anything in a few days. We did have a few close calls with branches falling down VERY near our cars. Also, during the first storm, our back screen door blew off! crazy...

Happy Derby Day

Happy Derby Day! Our Kroger is the store where they put together all the floral arrangements for Oaks Day and Derby. They have these HUGE horses all throughout the store, and Calvin enjoyed them today.
