Fall Festival at Southern

Again, Southern outdid themselves.  We had an amazing time this year at the Fall Festival.  It was Western themed, so I bought the kids bandanas and when we arrived they each got a cowboy hat in a color of their choice and a sheriff pin.

The dinner was Chick-Fil-A, cokes and chips.  Then they had stands(like the one above) with Fried oreos, elephant ears, and pickles.  They also had cotton candy, caramel corn, nachos, jumbo pretzels and rootbeer.

The blow ups and bounce houses were the fun.  There was also apple bobbing, pony on a stick races, crafts and SO MUCH more.

3rd grade

This "IS" Hannah's signature pose.  I was looking through some I took of her this weekend at Disney, and she is like this in every pose:)
3rd grade is going well....She has a lot more home work!  As long as we keep her focused she can get it done in a timely manner.  It isn't easy for her though.
Her teacher is very nice, and we are looking forward to a great year.

olypmics

Since this was the first year H and C really understood the Olympics we went all out.  We made torches and stayed up really really really late watching the opening ceremonies.  Then we watched TV for 2 weeks straight!!  They loved it. And pretty much after every viewing they were trying to be Olympians.  Even ML got into it.  She was jumping off of pillows pretending to be diving.  We were pretty sure C would be rushed to the emergency room at one point.  But he survived.

random cuteness

The last Saturday of the summer was spent at the Zoo.  Here they are posing all nice and cute.

Hannah's riding lessons

Instead of a sport this year, H has chosen riding lessons.  She is very good at it, and not afraid.  The younger 2 like to go as well and pet the horses.
