Cake!

Our baby sitters Saturday night brought carrot cake for the kids. ML is the only one who likes it and ate any. We all agree that the older 2 may have tried it had J not told them it had carrots In it. On a side note, Dan and I had a nice evening out.

Mass flooding

Ha!
They are not prepared for rain here. It's like places that aren't prepared for snow. There aren't gutters, and the smallest rain makes everything flood. This is a lame picture, as you can't see all the flooding. There are a lot of areas around the property that are 2-3 feet deep. I'm choosing to stay in today, Dan saw lots of puddles when he got the mail.

It's raining

It is a very rainy day. We have been doing crafts all day. W started out with an outside painting "flop" not all Pinterest ideas work....then we moved on to google eye monsters. Then we finished up with stained glass crayon trees. Now they are playing play dough...

She's taller than a 3 story building!!

She's taller than a 3 story building! And Calvin's new friend Jordon. Jordan loves to tattle on Calvin. But in general they get a long. He claims he's 3 and in kindergarten...who knows!!

After dinner fun

We were literally mowed over this week! H started us off this week with a simple cold. She stayed home Monday but went back Tuesday. Wednesday afternoon me and the younger 2 got the cold. We got it way worse! Poor C was up all night with a very high fever. The 3 of us stayed in bed all Thursday. Thursday afternoon Dan came down with it the worse! We are much better now, but it was bad. I've heard it's bad when you are all sick at the same time, but this our first time to be all sick at the same time. I sure hope it does not happen again. All we have left is a bad cough.

Dans job

Dan is enjoying his job. Tonight we entertained some of his co-workers. It was fun, and nice to meet some of the people he works with.

Free Legos

As part of entering the Lego world, I took the kids to the free Lego build at the Lego store. I knew Lego store did this once a month, but we have never lived by one until now.

My eyes have been opened!!!

We arrived at 4:40. It started at5. There were at least 160 people in line when we arrived. The line did go fast once they started. We were in for our build by 5:45. The kids did great.

Next month we'll take the iPad with games.

Our friends are back

It has been a long few weeks for us. Most of our friends left over the winter break. We were left with the Vincent's expedition to drive everyone back and forth to the airport. I guess that's what we get:) we are great full for friends, and esp. Their return!!

This morning we hung out with some that have returned. And had a nice time at the zoo

Back in the saddle again

This was by far the best lesson she ever had. I was very impressed with the thorough -ness of the lesson. It was a group lesson, but she learned more in the 2 hours we were there than all the individual lessons she's ever had!!
