Happy Birthday Hannah

Happy 6th Birthday to Hannah!

Hannah has been really into Build-A-Bear this year, so we threw her a small party there. She was allowed to invite a couple friends and they got to choose an animal and stuff it. Then they played some cute games and bathed their new animals. After that we headed to an area near the store and they had amazing cake! My friend is making a Wedding cake for another friend and needed to make a practice cake. After the bride looked at it, she brought it to Hannah's party and we all got to eat it!!

Family and Friends

One of the best things about summer and having a new baby is that EVERY one comes to see you!! We have been blessed with family and friends who have come to visit us this summer. It has been especially nice, b/c traveling with a newborn would have been very challenging. We are looking forward to a family trip home sometime in the near future(Mom's...don't read into this, we haven't chosen dates yet) :)

cloth diaper pattern

Yesterday I was pretty bored during my kids rest time. I know! Weird huh? I was feeling a little crafty so I found a few websites that had patterns for cloth diapers. I ended up making one out of a few scraps I had laying around. It only took me and hour and 1/2 to make one!
Here is the link for it. She is very detailed and shows lots of pictures. This was especially nice for me b/c I am such a visual person.
