don't worry, we're safe

(warning: this post is for relatives)

WE ARE SAFE!! I'm guessing that Louisville has hit the national news. We are very safe. The storms went more to the north. Basically about 20 miles to the north. There was a ton of damage, people died, and some buildings ruined ect...but we are safe and praising God for sparing our family and friends!!!

being a boy

We had the stump ground up into mulch/woodchips. Dan and Calvin worked hard to transfer it to our flower beds. The boy LOVES digging in dirt!!

Tried and failing....

We are trying to take away ML's bottle. She is so attached to the thing. It isn't working though. So, in attempts to make her happy, we bought her a "noney" (pronounced NO-ney) Her BFF has one and ML loves it.

Valentine's Day Party (just my kids)

For the sake of time and sanity, I am only posting the pictures of my 2 kids from the party. We had a wonderful time decorating boxes, then filling them up with our Valentines.
There was also face painting, and a guess how much candy is in the jar.


This is Calvin and his "BFF" Reeves. The picture pretty much speaks for itself. They really are best friends:)

Painting

A casual, yet fun Saturday morning...

Swim Lessons.

Hannah is taking swim lessons. Actually, they are almost over. It was a 3 week class. She has made some improvements (I think). I noticed the other day she was jumping in without holding her nose! She still seems very attached to the teacher while in deeper water, and refuses to relax her body to float. But, I think that will come with more time spent in the water. She is also blind as a bat, which could be attributing to some of her fear. She loves the classes!!

Calvin has been watching her, and he can now put his head under the water without holding his nose, and he scoots around the tot pool like a pro. I think he may be ready for lessons too.

This is my new favorite sweater for ML. I wish I had one...(apparently the cat in the hat is mesmerizing!) I find it lame...

getting BIG

ML is growing by leaps and bounds. She has started talking with complete sentences. She likes to play with the older 2, although she starting to be a little tattle tale:) They don't really like that part....HA.

VERY Warm weather in Jan!

We are having some amazingly warm weather here! Today we took a trip to the Zoo. Yesterday we went to the park.
