Hannah's Birthday Party

Blogger has apparently switched the way you up load pictures.  You used to have to do it in reverse order...not anymore.  So for your viewing pleasure I have decided to not switch them around (actually I don't have the time!)!!!!

Calvin's Birthday "weekend" part one

The party was Cars 2 themed.  I made box cars for the children to race in.  We outlined a race course on the driveway and they raced all around.

Each of the kids got to pick out a tatoo and we "tatted" ourselves up :)  MiriLou got Holly Shiftwell.

Calvin was so worn out Friday that he fell asleep early.

His new death mobile. I swear to you all he is going to end up in the ER with this new contraption!!!!!  But he LOVES it.

We meet them there.  It was a total surprise, and the kids had a blast.  We went to "City Museum"  it is an amazing and awesome place for kids!!!  All of you should go there.

obsessed to the power of 12

There is not a child on the face of this planet who is obsessed more with Disney's Cars movies!! Calvin eats sleeps and breathes cars. We even name cars we see while driving around town. (according to their color in the movie)

I have been on pinterest and found some really awesome ideas for his BD party. I know...it is a few months away. But he is SO excited. I even looked up how much it would cost to take him to the KY Speedway to see a real race...lets just say we could go to the KY Derby for cheaper!!!!

Hope you are doing well. The weather is record breaking highs. We may have to turn our AC on soon.

I love my ball

my bouncy bouncy ball. I love my ball (sing it in your head like Boots the Monkey!) Uggg...isn't it depressing that buying my kids bouncy balls and singing a Dora the Explorer song to them makes them happy...

On a funny note. They all 3 love (ed) their bouncy balls. Hannah's lasted all of 20 minutes, and then she popped it. (via kicking it into the fence) Calvin's lasted a few minutes longer, then he popped his b/c it was "so much fun" to watch Hannah's deflate. ML's ball is still intact. The older 2 are not allowed to touch it:)

note: H is not pinning ML down under the goal. It sure looks like it though:) She was helping ML to get out , after she(ML) knocked it over with her ball.

St Patty's Day

we always make way more of a deal than we should about St Patrick's Day. But the kids love it. I got them tatoo's, we painted our nails green, we had green pancakes for breakfast, and green coolaid for lunch. When we got back from the park, we found a St. Patrick's day box from Nana waiting for us. It had the candy and stickers in it that you see all over their bodies. What fun, thanks Nana.

spring flowers

are blooming...and dying, thanks to all the rain we've had. Its a mixed blessing. The kids are having a blast playing out side in between rain storms.

I let them ride their bikes down the road to the parking lot (of the plastic surgery building...) and they can ride there. Its a huge lot, and after hours and weekends its completely empty! They love it.

We've also been playing at the park a ton, walking around the block, and went to the zoo once.

and it isn't a beaver...Its MiriLou. She will sit by our wood chip pile(which we are trying to get moved...long story there) and play in it. She is partial to the larger ones that she can hold.

Do take notice of the egg(!) MiriLou can climb out of the pack-n-play now. We are working this week on her taking naps in Calvin's bed. She only got out once today, so there is huge progress there.

gym class

I know these pictures are less than par...but this is Calvin in his gym class. he does not like to go! We usually bribe him, and I have to sit there the whole time.(instead of walking the track...) He will turn and look at me every time he does something to make sure I saw him. Then I wave and he smiles.
