Dan got free tickets to a BB game last week. We got free BBQ and then watched the game. C was in a mood, and wouldn't let me take his picture...but ML was all smiles. And we all enjoyed popcorn!!

St. Nicholas Party

We were invited to share in St. Nicholas Day last Thursday with some of our new friends.  It was a great time for all.  We read a book on the life of St. Nicholas, then made cookies in a hat shape, and made a craft, and played out back.

Our new Hobby

We have found a new hobby.  Hiking!  The kids really enjoyed it, and it was a lot of fun.  We didn't see any critters to their dismay.  But we got to see cactuses up close!!

 Our girls are dying to wear their boots!!  It is just way to hot...It is kinda sad.  they got them new for this winter, but when it is 80 degrees everyday, you simply cant be wearing boots.  Hannah did wear hers yesterday, but promptly took them off when she got home, she wore sandals today:)

I will not divulged the exact location of this enormous Minnie.  If you buy her this we will disown you as a friend!! (and yes, Hannah put it on MiriLou's Christmas list.  I think she forgot we live in an apt now) She is so heavy MiriLou could hardly pick her up.

thanksgiving with Nana

Nana (my Mom) flew in for the week of Thanksgiving.  We had a very nice time with her.  We showed her all around Phoenix, since she had never been before.

We even shelled out to pet the sting rays at the Zoo!!

Hannah's school hosted a "Turkey Trot" on Wednesday.  This is a tradition in schools here.  All the kids did was run around the field for 7.5 min.  It was fun though.  H and ML did great.
