one amazing Spring Break!

Much better than the St. Patrick's Day photo, don't ya think!!!!!! Minus the yellow antena's behind Hannah :) I tried to take a picture each day, so as to document Spring Break well. We had a great week. Hannah enjoyed the week very much. She wasn't to excited at first, but as the week went by, she kept making comments to let us know that she loved SB(spring break). And, I am thinking Mama enjoyed sleeping in too(maybe a little too much). 8 more weeks until Summer and then we can re-visit the sleeping in party.


Guess who can stand up now!! This is the 2nd time she pulled up. The first being when we saw her, and Calvin pushed her over right as I headed for the camera. She was persistent and pulled herself right back up though. All smiles too! She is loving her new found freedom/trick.




Thursday, we went to the Zoo with 3 other families. It was crazy busy there (b/c all the kids were on SB) We had a blast anyway!! Between the 4 families there were 13 kids to keep track of. Thankfully Calvin and "Roofy" (aka Ruth to everyone but Calvin) were dressed the same :) The highlight = the Lions mating!! (PTL the kids didn't see it, they were to busy climbing the tree)





We also made cookies! What would Spring break be w/o fun foods?!!

Can I come play chalk?

Hannah started off the week by attending a Birthday party. She got a package of chalk as a party favor(along with a cute purse FILLED with TONS of goodies).







My genius idea for keeping ML happy while the older 2 are outside!! Well...this lasted about 30minutes. She was able to watch them and squeal at them. Normally she cries this very high-pitched scream while they are out. She truly knows she is missing out!

Check Hannah "practicing" her bike riding. She was told that she could get $5 if she got it down by Saturday(which obviously did NOT happen)...It will be a miracle if she can do it by the end of the Summer!!!!!!!! She is VERY afraid :(




Hannah and Calvin got their teeth cleaned last week as well. This was the first time Calvin cooperated for a teeth cleaning. He was superb!!!!

All done! The pearly whites are clean!!

Last week

I am working on a HUGE post on our week! We are continuing to have a wonderful week. The weather is simply beautiful today, so we have been outside a lot. We also baked cookies and did laundry:)

Here are a few shots from last week. The younger 2 and I went to the Zoo, and there were these yellow flowers. I couldn't resist a few shots. The ones of MiriLou with her tongue out remind me of Dan!!! Also, I think I qualify for the WT mom of the year award:) Bubs rode home naked b/c he was SO hot and sweaty, and the van didn't have AC and the windows didn't roll down...Which reminds me, I should post a pic of the new wheels:)

Spring Break

Its day 2 of Spring Break, and we are doing well. I have to admit I was a little nervous to have all 3 kids at home for a WHOLE week! "What is wrong with you?" you might be thinking:) Welp...Hannah is an emotional roller coaster. You never know what is going to set her off. One day it may be something, and the next it may be that that same thing is making her laugh. Her and Calvin are having a hard time playing together recently too. Their age gap is starting to show. He is the rough tuff dive off the couch head first, take no second to think before he acts, laugh at your face while you are spanking him kinda kid. Hannah is the over analyzer do it my way or the high way or I am going to pout, scream bloody murder before I even get the paddle out, then cry for an hour over a little tap kinda girl.

BUT, I am proud to say that they have been doing very well!!!! They played outside yesterday for 1 1/2 hours together after breakfast (before the storm). Then Hannah got her teeth cleaned (the tooth with potential for a cavity looked great! PTL) we ate dinner and they continued to play well. Today we went to Story Hour and ate lunch with friends.

I was bummed we couldn't go home for Spring Break, but we have TONS of fun stuff planned for the rest of the week, and Hannah told me that she loves Spring Break(LOL).

Actually, she's been moving for a very long time. I just finally remembered to capture it:) ML is VERY fast. I am not sure the video does her justice. She was a little camera shy. She is pulling up now too:)

Tonight Hannah is going to a party for a little girl in her class! We are excited for her. And she is pretty stoked to go. They will be eating pizza, cake and watching movies:)

We purchased a new car this week! We are very satisfied with it too:) A civic with only 17,000 miles and a warranty. The gas mileage is pretty awesome as well. This also means that I will bringing the kiddos home in June. Yeah:)

2 weeks ago Dan was voted in as an Elder at our church!! I am proud of him.

Beautiful

Sunday morning we awoke to a lightly snow-covered yard. It was really pretty on the flowers. I couldn't resist a few pictures. It was all gone when we got home from church.

to post the St. Patrick's Day photo. You clearly didn't miss anything:) They were not in a "take-my-photo" mood!
We started the day off with green donuts, then attempted the photo, then too Hannah to school. Hannah had a nice time at school. They had made green hats to wear. The principal had told them all that there was to be NO pinching what so ever. I guess that's fair...

Hannah scored a goal in her soccer game Saturday. I didn't see it though:( We are experiencing a very cold week, and didn't want the baby out. It is a good thing too, b/c Dan was cold sitting there and he never gets cold!

Stay tuned for a video of ML crawling! We took a few good ones. Her crawl is very unique(not as much as Calvin's was...but very cute)

11-Months

Where has the year gone!!!!!!!! I can't believe we have had ML in our lives for 11 months. SO much has happened, it seems like only a few weeks.

ML is such a happy baby. She is pulling up now...which means we have to keep an eye on her more now. Plus, BIG bro likes to push her over and "bump" into her. She is still a beached whale when she falls. She can't roll over yet!!! It is kinda funny. She is the only one we could still leave on the edge of the bed this long, and know she wont go anywhere. ML is also the only one who hasn't fallen off the bed yet:) Maybe we have learned our lesson...

ML has the most impressive "pouty-lip" you have EVER seen!!!!! It breaks your heart and makes you laugh all at the same time. Too bad it wont be cute next year;) To celebrate today, Calvin, ML and I went out to eat with a good friend at church.
