The following exchange took place last night.
Calvin: Wah!!!!
Me: What happened?
Hannah (with baseball bat swung over shoulder): Nothing Mom! He just fell over...But look I picked him back up and now he's all better. I am so serious.
Me: really? Did you push him over with the bat?
Hannah: no
me: Are you sure? What were you doing with the bat?
Hannah: Nothing! I was just hitting him in the tummy. He really likes that!!

Where's mine?
This afternoon we went to Indiana to the Supper Wal-mart there after Church. I had made sandwiches for us to eat on the way. Calvin slept the whole way and had no clue that we were eating. I had told Hannah that if she ate her sandwich and apple she could have a cookie. It ended up that she ate the cookie on the way home. So, as we were on the highway coming back I leaned back handed her her cookie. Thinking nothing of it. About 3 seconds later we hear this horrified crying coming from Calvin! So we turn around to see what is the matter and he is sitting there giving Hannah this "look". It was SO funny. I then handed him a cookie and he was SO happy, you should have seen how his face lit up. Needless to say I wasn't thrilled at him eating a chocolate chip cookie in the van. He had to go straight to the tub when we got home!!! I think this is one of those stories (now that I am writing it) that is really more funny to me than it will be to you. You should have seen his face though!

Friday
Today our house had the inspection done. There is nothing wrong with it except a few cosmetic things. We were pleased and hope to set a move in date for the beginning of July. We found out that there isn't an outlet in the Bathroom!!!! WEIRD! And there wasn't a door on the room where we are going to put the kids! How did we miss that? We are so excited to move in. We have been having fun picking out paint and figuring out what floor to put in the Kitchen, ect...
The kids were weighed this morning at our WIC appointment. Hannah is 37lbs and Calvin is 26 after I subtracted for a wet diaper and clothes(which means the scale said he was bigger!!!!). No wonder I can't get out of bed in the mornings...

Dinner time
Dinner with Calvin is always "fun". From the amount of food he consumes to the endless laughter and entertainment he creates. Dinner is most definitely NOT boring at out house! Calvin is pretty much done with baby food now. He will flick the spoon out of our hands when we try to feed him. It is nice b/c baby food is expensive, but...it makes meal time a little bit more challenging too. You will want to keep watching as the movie doesn't get funny until about the 30 sec mark.

Bats game

Last Tuesday we had the privilege of attending our first Bats game. It was a lot of fun even though they lost. We went with our good friends and really enjoyed ourselves. Tuesday nights they serve $1 hot dogs, so we were able to eat for dirt cheap too. Hannah enjoyed being with her friends and playing on the playground there , Buddy Bat, and riding the "bunny" on the Carousel...2 times! She also liked that the balls kept coming our way. It kinda made me a bit nervous but we were never hit. We are eagerly looking forward to our next game.
our new neighbors!!
Where are my donuts?
We have new neighbors as of last weekend!! They are a great family from our church that moved in right across the street. They have a little boy who just turned 1 last weekend. As a celebration for his Birthday they took him to Krispy Kreme's and then brought us back some too:) It has been a lot of fun hanging out with them this week. I think I have talked with Sam more this week than in the past 3 years combined!

Where did my baby go?
Happy 11 Months Bubby!!
We have been very busy so I haven't had much time to post. But there are tons of new photos and videos coming!! Don't worry.
Calvin accomplished some new territory this month. He now moves...I'll use the term "move" loosely. He scoots on his tummy backwards and can turn circles. And sitting up he puts one foot bent in front of him and the other bent backwards and can scoot about 2-3 feet before giving up and finding something else to do, and usually he is headed towards food!! He is eating us out of house and home...surprise surprise! His favorite is having a food item in each hand:) We are noticing a drop in the jar foods and a HUGE increase in table foods. He ate 2 chicken nuggets and 4 waffle fries at Chick-Fil-A tonight. I think if he hadn't of liked the cow so much he may have eaten more. (and I think the cow liked him too, as he kept coming by to pat him)...either that or the cow was someone we knew. I swear we know 1/2 the staff there from church/school/or our apt complex. Calvin also likes to laugh, esp when you are laughing. He has 8 teeth now. He is starting to be more clingy and not as easy going. He definitely has an opinion and loves to "talk" to us.
It is late and I am sure I am so tired I am forgetting things, but wanted to catch you up on our almost 1 year old. That is SO scary to me to think he is almost 1. Where did this year go?
