Here is a great drink recommendation!! Next time you are thirsty I highly suggest this Tea. It is called Passion Iced Tea. I usually get the Grande and it is only $1.91. It is kinda addicting though...just to warn you!! I think I have had 3 or 4 in the past 2 weeks!!
Here is an update on our baby this week. I am 19 weeks, so I am almost 1/2 way!!! Yeah. I can feel the baby move more and more each day. Which is such a relief now. I have started to let myself get excited and have actually purchased a few items(!!) Go Me! I have also made a short list of needs/wants/borrow from others list. I even have diapers. They had a pack this month and last month at the food line! Pampers too:)
Our baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces, and he measures 6 inches, head to bottom — about the size of a large heirloom tomato. His arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of his body now. His kidneys continue to make urine, and the hair on his scalp is sprouting. This is a crucial time for sensory development: Your baby's brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch.
And for those of you who don't know what an heirloom tomato is...Here is what Wikipedia says it is: An heirloom tomato is an open-pollinated (non-hybrid) cultivar of tomato. Heirloom tomatoes have become increasingly popular and more readily available in recent years
Hi, I guess DDR isn't just for high school boys! Actually Hannah calls it DDRS. It is pretty funny. I'm thinking she is putting the S on it because we went to Baby's-R-Us the other day and she is making some connection with the letters...I could be wrong though. Who knows with kids, their thought pattern is so different at this age.
Today she bought Little Mo a present, and she is SO excited about it. We filled up another stamp card at PBK. It was cute watching her choose between the frog and the mouse!
For my Birthday (in December) Hannah and I got matching aprons with our names on them. Last night was the first time Hannah wore hers. I have been trying to get her to wear it this past month...and had actually given up. But it was her idea, so we had to get a picture!!
Well, I can honestly say that I now feel Little Mo moving all around. Mostly at night when I am just sitting on the couch, or when I have a book or the computer pushing on my tummy, or after sugary foods. They are just small movements now, but Praise God for any movements at all!! He has really blessed us so far in this pregnancy. We are so blessed to have such good friends and family praying for us in this journey.
Thank you all!
O-I saw 27 dresses last night and it is really cute. And pretty clean!
So...I tried to take Hannah to see the new Veggie Tale movie that is out. Lets just say that there was NO religious tones/story in it at all. It was a Pirates of the Caribbean part 3 knock off! And...since when is that a kids movie? It was very scary for Hannah and we ended up leaving early because she was so scared. She was crying.
Do you remember in Jonah the pirates who don't do anything liked those cheese curls? Well the cheese curls are in this movie as well...only they come alive at one point and start to chase the pirates with these evil eyes and mouths. YIKES! It totally freaked her out and...honestly, rightly so. I was a bit shocked as well.
We will NOT be seeing Veggie Tale movies anymore! I am bit disappointed in Big Ideas. They have really let changed their focus over the years. Aren't they supposed to be funny and "Loosely" based on Bible stories?
We just got home from Chili's and guess what????????? They sell chicken enchilada soup here at ours now!! We are SO excited. We have been driving to Cincinnati to get it for the past 4 years. Now we don't have to. Yeah!!!!!!!
Then we went to Baby's-R-Us to check out whats new. Specifically pack-n-plays. I am shocked at how fancy and pricey they can be. We did find one for 79$ that we may get...It even matched our room. Not that that is a priority! Can you register for stuff on a second baby? Let me know...it sure would be nice(since it has been 4 years). OR....if you are a relative and want to send us a gift card to baby's-R-us we will gladly accept it.
Then Hannah fell on the way in. She missed the sidewalk and scraped up her had really well. She cried for what seemed like forever!! She is ok.
We have had a great evening(!!). seriously though, we did. Now I am off to ice cream.
I think I am the only one eagerly awaiting the Easter season at this time...I have been craving jelly beans for the past week!! Just a passing thought...
Hannah's favorite CD right now is Jeremy Camp. Actually Dan and I are really enjoying it too! It is neat how most of the songs are my favorites from the radio, I just didn't realize it was Jeremy Camp. Our good friends got her hooked him last spring when they were babysitting, and then for Christmas they got her one of his CD's. We even let her turn the CD player on by herself now, which she really likes. It makes her feel like a big girl...
Here is a clip of her dancing to the CD. Sorry about the messy room. It was Monday(new bed sheet day).
