Tonight we are going to a "Go Away" party for a family at our church. He was the interim pastor at our church 3 years ago when we visited and then later joined. He is also one of our Elders. He and his family are a huge part of why we stayed at our church. They have taken a position at a church in Georgia and will be moving this weekend(I think). Anyway...we will miss them greatly and are SO sad to see them go. BUT, we know that God has amazing plans for them in GA. And in a way are excited for them to begin their journey there. This is the first of many many many sad good-bye's this summer! I am not looking forward to that part of my summer...
On a lighter note, my Mother-in-law and Sister-in-law are coming tomorrow. I just talked with them to confirm plans. So we will be having a fun-filled weekend with them. Dan was even able to get Friday and Saturday off. (Friday by trading today). They are bringing me the dresser my mom bought us, and after that I will be able to wash all the baby clothes and put them in it, than all we "have" to buy is his bed!! Yeah....o, and a small pkg. of newborn diapers. My guess is he'll only need a few before going to ones!!!!!

I'm back...
...Wondering where I've been? It looks like I haven't updated since Wednesday. Sorry about that. I probably shouldn't go so far between blogs at this point in my pregnancy!! You might start calling me:)
I actually just got off the phone with a good friend who is due this week. She didn't come to church tonight, so when she called I asked her how she was and she joked that she was in the hospital holding her baby...She was really just calling to remind me to bring dessert to Bible Study tomorrow evening.
But anyway, we have been a little busy this week. We had a yard sale here at our apt complex. About 10 families participated and the weather was amazing!! I only made $18 and then spent $1. But it was nice to spend time with some of our neighbors.
Dan and I are on disk 2 of season 2 of House. You guys should watch it!! It is really good. There is a story line so if you can, watch them in order. And the show is pretty original.
Baby preparations are going well. I have technically 5 weeks left. But I have been having contractions all week. Some of which are pretty painful. I think I was scaring Dan last night, I kept jumping every 10 or so minutes. They just catch you off guard when they aren't real. So, I am excited to see if this means I have started to dilate. I was given a Baby Bjorn carrier tonight! I am excited about that too. She said it was 6 years old, but I looked at when we got home and it is in amazing shape! It will be nice to have a way to carry the baby when I need both hands or need Hannah in the stroller.
Dan and I tried out a new Pizzeria last night. It was really good. He brought the box in and I had to laugh, it was the worlds largest pizza box!!!!! and the slices were Very large too!!!
And last but not least...(!!)...I have now been asked 7 times if I am having twins!! I should put a poll on my blog to guess the final # of "morons" (as one friend put it) who will ask me. Dan was with me for #7, and totally took care of it. It was kind of nice to have a break, although I did have to stand there and smile nicely. He did all the talking though!!!!!!(I think he was afraid I was going to pummel the woman)

Dr. Apt
I had another Dr. apt today. There is nothing new to report though. I am measuring 37 weeks(but am 34), and I totally forgot to find out what my current weight gain is!! How sad. I am going to call tomorrow and find out though. (we don't own a scale...). My next apt is in 2 weeks and they will start checking for dilation then. She will also do another ultra sound at 38 weeks to see what his weight is.

Dentist apt.
Our family picture from my graduation!
Well, folks...I have now been asked 5 times if I am having twins...Hmmm, if only I had a dollar for every time I have been asked! I could buy a whole tank of gas:)
Hannah and I went to the Dentist this morning. (while we were there, gas jumped 24cents!!!!). Hannah did great again. I on the other hand...did not! They leaned me back and I got very dizzy and had to sit up and have a glass of water. I am talking really dizzy!! It was so weird. Then we tried it again only not as far back and I still got dizzy after a few min. So, I had to end up sitting up all the way and leaning my head back and they had to stand up to clean my teeth. What an ordeal? They were SO nice about it though. And after that was done, we had to call Dan to come and get us, b/c I didn't want to walk home...Our Dentist is right across the street and down a block.
My next Dr. apt is tomorrow!! I am excited. I've had some BH contractions, so it is very exciting to see what she says. Only 42 days left!! According to my weekly e-mail he is 18inches and 4 3/4 lbs(give or take...I'd give!).

Have a great evening!! Dan gets off work at 9 tonight...Yeah!!

Mother's Day
I know this is a day late, but:
Happy Mother's Day
to all the moms that read this!!!!!
to all the moms that read this!!!!!
I hope you all had a wonderful day. We did. We went to church, and than enjoyed a nice relaxing afternoon in our warm apartment, as it was Very cold and rainy. Than we went to church in the evening and Dan preached from Deuteronomy 10:20. Than we went to DQ!!! The ultimate location to end any day:) Unfortunately we have "hooked" our child on it too! She did make me a cute card in Sunday School. Actually her teachers made it...but it was still cute and she is very proud of herself. There are little stick people on it to represent me, Dan and her. On the one for me there is a big circle on the tummy for Little Mo!!!!! How cute?

Twins?
So, I have now been asked 4 times in the past 3 1/2 weeks if I am having twins!!! I am really not that big...ok, well, maybe I am a little big.
I graduated yesterday from SWI. It was a nice ceremony. Dan took some pictures, so I'll post those soon. We got a nice one of the 3(4) of us. It was neat to see the actual Boyce students there. They were so excited, than I got to thinking, these kids are just starting their lives! They are 22 and getting ready to go out into the world and start their lives with jobs, families ect. I'd forgotten what it was like to graduate from college. It kinda makes me feel old! And I am really not that old:)
It is beautiful today! We went yard selling, and to the park. Now we are watching Finding Nemo. This was Hannah's first favorite feature film. So it brings back a lot of memories. Now we don't have to fast forward any of the parts!!
Dan is preaching tomorrow night. I always like it when he preaches.

Hello,
It is a good thing I bought gas the other day (see random thoughts from May 6th)!! B/c the very next day it went from $3.55 to $3.85 and has stayed there ever since.
I saw Made of Honor last night. It is ok...esp since I didn't have to pay for it. I doubt that I would have seen it otherwise. Dan saw it today on his break and said it was ok too. Definitely not worth paying for, for those of you who don't live here and get the special "discount"!!
I had rehearsal today for my graduation tomorrow. Boy are some of the people graduating young!! Not that I am terribly old, but you have to think...they are what 22? And they sure acted like it. There were some older people there as well though. Sometimes it is easy to mistake Boyce students from the Southern students. I have a lot of friends who have husbands at Boyce. But they are older, so sometimes you can mistake the degree program they are in. We all got new Bibles!! I am pretty excited about that. I chose a burgundy one.
Dan finished his final and turned it in this morning. This will be our first summer where he doesn't have any classes. PhD students don't have classes in the summer(until they are further along). So pray for us...as this fall will be a rude awakening when he has to go back!!!!! We are going to be pretty spoiled this summer:) But we have lots of fun things planned. Such as: several Birthday Parties to attend, our 6th anniversary, Hannah's Birthday, Calvin's birth, family coming, another trip to Cincy...and whatever else God has planned for us!

Go Hannah!!!
I know you all will want to rejoice with Hannah now! She can wipe herself and wash her hands now!! YEAH...I know it was probably silly of us to wait so long to teach her, but I am a germ freak and didn't want her wiping herself until now. She does an excellent job and is VERY proud of herself! Our favorite quote of hers now is:
"I can't find the perforation!!" (on the tp).
How cute and hilarious is that? She really is the cutest!!

more random thoughts while I wait for my dinner...

We did end up going to the zoo this afternoon! It was SO nice too. There weren't very many people there either. Which is always great when you are chasing your child around the water. part. They didn't have a good picture of the slides, but here is what the other side looks like. Hannah had a blast and she actually went down the slides this year. In previous years she has been too afraid of the water. We spent about an hour playing in the water, it was SO refreshing!!
Dan is basically done with his semester! He just has a few more questions left on his take home final then he can turn it in(I think it is due Thursday).
I am glad we didn't buy Calvin's Pack-and-play yesterday! Because we got a $10 off coupon in the mail today!!! Thats exciting...for us. My e-bay auctions ended last night and we now have the money for it, but we had decided to wait a few more days. Technically I still have 7 weeks left, so whats the rush? I doubt that he will come this week:)
I am graduating from SWI(Seminary Wives Institute) on Friday!! SWI is those classes I have been taking on Thursday evenings for the past 3 years. Actually I was done in Dec, but they only have a graduation for SWI women in the Spring. We get to walk with the Boyce graduates!!
random thoughts...
This morning I found myself getting excited b/c gas was $3.55!!!!! YIKES. As soon as I got excited, I realized what was happening to me, and I felt silly. Who gets excited over the price of gas? But...they did jack up gas to $4 this past weekend for the Derby, and filling up a van costs a lot of money. Its like a whole day's work for Dan...I am just glad we didn't get gas yesterday for 3.60!! (sorry Sams club).
But I did have to go to 2 different stations. The first one pumped me .04cents, than stopped. They said they were out, so I had to go across the street and wait in line!!
I remember when I first learned to drive, gas was 86cents a gallon, and I would get MAD if I had to pay more than 14$ for a whole tank!!!! WOW...am I dating my self or what?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was asked again today if I was having twins!! That makes 3 times in the past 2 1/2 weeks.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I think we may go swimming at the zoo this afternoon. It should be 80 by then.
Well. I am off to a nap!!

Roar!!!!
Help!
Hannah is being eaten by her Dino's...
Just kidding. Dan and I had fun taking this picture, although it did take us a little while to get a good one. Hannah didn't really want to cooperate for it! She just didn't understand what we were doing. She still loves her Dino's very much. This is her newest one. O, and she is VERY good at Roaring!! We are trying to teach her how to roar softly...but it is unsuccessful so far.
Hope you all have a great week!! I am 33 weeks tomorrow, with 7 left!

Oaks Day
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hannah is in this cute copy cat stage. She does everything I do. If I am wearing a necklace, so will she, if I am wearing a bracelet, certain shoes, shorts, jeans ect, she will go and put on something to match me. Last night I wore a dress to a party I went to and she had to wear a dress too! It was hilarious, b/c she was all dressed up for child care, and the other kids were just wearing shorts and T's. The only annoying thing about it is if I change something at the last min and she notices. Than it kinda takes another 5 min to get her ready...O well. It is kinda cute to have a "mini-me".
Fun with friends
Here are the kids having fun at the zoo. This is from 3 weeks ago when Josh, Cari and the boys came to visit.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This morning I got to take some cute pictures of my friend's baby and 2-year old on campus. Then we all had lunch with more friends who met up with us. It was a lot of fun. They had this huge water sprinkler going on in the middle of the quad, and Hannah asked if she could run through it. I immediately said yes...knowing full-well that she would NOT actually do it. She is such a wimp(normally)!! well, to make a long story short, she did run through it and so did all the other kids with us...I'm not sure if the other mom's were too happy with me. BUT Hannah totally proved me wrong. I would have said no if I'd a known she was really going to do it!! O well, lesson learned...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Saturday is the Derby, so everyone around here is getting ready for it. It is kinda a fun time to be here. I don't quite understand all the hype for a 1-2 min race...but it is neat to see all the women dressed up. They have been party-ing here for the past 2 weeks!!
